STANDARD BASE
Square base Cm 60 x 60 x 52 with its own carter to hold the necessary ballast (not included). The base is suitable both for the use of tiles 50 x 50 cm as ballast and for the use of PVC bags filled with sand.
This base may be used as a seat thanks to its sturdy carter and to the comfortable cushion that can be chosen to match.
Ground mounting plate Cm 25 x 25 x 0,8 with anchoring holes for fixing to the ground with threaded rods.
Anodized or painted aluminum post, Ø 50 mm, with thrust protection to fix to the ground with blocking wings.
OPTIONAL BASE
Square base Cm 90 x 90 x 20 with its own carter to hold the necessary ballast (not included). The base is suitable for the use of tiles 40 x 40 cm as ballast.
EQUIPMENTS:
By raising the plate by about 15 mm from the ground, they avoid unpleasant stagnation of water under it.
With this setup you can ballast the umbrella with both 50cm Teknowind tiles and 40cm grit tiles.
They allow you to move the umbrella, avoiding having to remove the ballast.
The wheels are also suitable for floors that are not perfectly smooth such as outdoor bricks.
CARTER:
Removable casing made up of two half-shells and a lid, it is the suitable cover for all the proposed combinations.
520 mm high, it can be used as a shelf or, combined with the cushion, as a comfortable seat.
It is galvanized and painted in the same color as the structure; thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
BOREAS PLATE 25:
Plate Ø 250 mm, 8 mm thick, in galvanized iron, painted to match the structure.
Allows you to fix the umbrella to the ground with M10 threaded bars, thus avoiding the use of ballasts and casings; it is the system that allows you to have more free space under the canvas.
Thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
With the use of a concrete plinth, the Boreas 25 plate can also be fixed on soft ground. Teknowind recommends customers to bury plinths that have a minimum size of 50 x 50 x 35 cm. For particularly windy places, we recommend using anchor bolts to secure the plinth.
GROUND POLE:
The Teknowind ground pole has been designed for fixing on soft ground such as meadows and beaches; It has the end part of the tubing cut at 45° for easy insertion into the ground and two PVC discs that prevent the pole from slipping out of the ground, even in strong winds.
It is recommended to bury the pole to a minimum depth of 100 cm.
