With an innovative design and also elegant, light, easy to handle and, most importantly, safe, it can effortlessly resist winds blowing at up to 80 Km/h, whether in gusts or constant.

Two models ( Ø 220 and Ø 275 Cm ) made entirely of stainless steel, can be provided in a wide variety of colours to choose from for the canopy and for the finish of the structure.

Plate 50 x 50 cm, 8 mm thick, in galvanized iron, painted to match the structure.
It is the most versatile base in the collection; thanks to the perforations on the corners, it can be equipped with non-slip rubber feet, with swivel wheels or can be fixed to the ground.
For ballast, we offer customized Teknowind 50 x 50 cm perforated tiles.
To cover the plate, Teknowind offers a modular cover, 42 cm high.
EQUIPMENTS
RUBBER FEET:
The non-slip and anti-vibration rubber feet are the ideal solution for positioning the umbrella on outdoor floors; even those that are not perfectly level. In addition to protecting the floor from unpleasant scratches, they give greater stability to the umbrella in windy conditions.
By raising the plate by about 15 mm from the ground, they avoid unpleasant stagnation of water under it.
WHEELS:
The Ghibli 50 plate can be equipped with 360° rotatable PVC wheels.
They allow you to move the umbrella, avoiding having to remove the ballast.
The wheels are also suitable for floors that are not perfectly smooth such as outdoor bricks.
THREADED RODS:
Using the holes present on the four corners, the Ghibli 50 plate can be fixed to the ground with threaded rods.
CARTER
H.32 : It is the ideal carter to cover Teknowind tiles; made up of a single body in press-bent iron, it is galvanized and painted in the same color as the structure. Thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
H42: Removable casing made up of two half-shells and a lid, it is the suitable cover for all the proposed combinations. 420 mm high, it can be used as a shelf or, combined with the cushion, as a comfortable seat. It is galvanized and painted in the same color as the structure; thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
GHIBLI 25 PLATE:
Plate Ø 250 mm, thickness 8 mm, in galvanized iron, painted to match the structure.
Allows you to fix the umbrella to the ground with M10 threaded bars, thus avoiding the use of ballasts and casings; it is the system that allows you to have more free space under the canvas.
Thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
With the use of a concrete plinth, the Ghibli 25 plate can also be fixed on soft ground. Teknowind recommends customers to bury plinths that have a minimum size of 40 x 40 x 25 cm. For particularly windy places, we recommend using anchor bolts to secure the plinth.
NEW 2025
GROUND POLE WITH SCREW ANCHOR
Thanks to the collaboration with T-Block s.r.l., from the 2025 season Teknowind offers a new and innovative fastening system for windproof umbrellas, suitable for natural terrains such as meadows and beaches.
A wide range of screw anchors allows you to fix our products on any type of natural terrain in total safety and maintaining the wind resistance unchanged, without the use of heavy ballast and casings that can ruin the ground.
Easy to install and remove, our windproof umbrella fixing system installs in seconds; no other anchoring system is this fast and secure to the ground!
For the Ghibli and Boreas central pole models, Teknowind has designed special poles equipped with a T-Block screw anchor welded directly onto the plug tube.
Simply screw the plug tube into the ground and your Teknowind umbrella is ready for use.
With this type of fastening the umbrella can withstand winds of up to 80 km.
Our windproof umbrella fixing system is the eco-friendly solution as it is made of stainless steel, a material that does not release any substance into the ground.

THE TEKNOWIND UMBRELLAS
