Its sturdy steel structure and patented wind resistance system allow for its use to be extremely safe, even with wind – gusts or constant flow – of up to 70 Km/h. 100% acrylic fiber fabric 300 Gr/m2, DOLAN® paste dyed, available in the following colours:
Steel base 118 x 85 cm with relative cover for housing the necessary ballast; 14 grit tiles 50 x 50 cm for the Mod. 320 and 18 tiles for the Mod. 400.
The base is made up of 50 x 50 mm steel tubing, 2 mm thick, above which the column (A) which holds the vertical pole is fixed. To avoid unpleasant water stagnation and to increase the stability of the umbrella, the base is completed with polyamide feet with non-slip rubber sole (B).
The ballast is covered by press-formed steel carters; in combination you can purchase Teknowind cushions, which transform the covers into comfortable seats. All the components of the base are galvanized and painted in the same color as the structure; thanks to the outdoor treatments to which they are subjected, Teknowind can guarantee excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.

Thanks to the collaboration with T-Block s.r.l., from the 2025 season Teknowind offers a new and innovative fastening system for windproof umbrellas, suitable for natural terrains such as meadows and beaches.
A wide range of screw anchors allows you to fix our products on any type of natural terrain in total safety and maintaining the wind resistance unchanged, without the use of heavy ballast and casings.
Easy to install and remove, our windproof umbrella fixing system installs in seconds; no other anchoring system is this fast and secure to the ground!
Thanks to T-Block you will no longer move heavy ballast and you will no longer have unpleasant stains on your lawn caused by resting bases, but you will be able to cut it comfortably without clutter!!! The stainless steel base can be buried and fixed with T-Block screws, so as to have all the walkable space around the pole.
Our windproof umbrella fixing system is the eco-friendly solution as it is made of stainless steel, a material that does not release any substance into the ground.
MISTRAL 70 PLATE:
70 x 70 Cm plate, 10 mm thick, in galvanized steel, painted to match the structure; it is the ideal base for optimizing the spaces under the umbrella. This type of base requires fixing to the ground with four threaded rods. It is recommended to identify a suitable ground; for fixing, Teknowind recommends contacting experts.
To cover the plate, Teknowind offers a removable cover made up of two half-shells and a lid.
52 Cm high, it can be used as a shelf or, combined with the cushion, as a comfortable seat.
It is galvanized and painted in the same color as the structure; thanks to the outdoor treatments to which it is subjected, it guarantees excellent resistance to all atmospheric agents.
By using a concrete plinth equipped with anchor bolts, the Mistral 70 plate can also be fixed on soft ground. Teknowind recommends customers to bury plinths that have a minimum size of 80 x 80 x 100 cm. For particularly windy places, we recommend using anchor bolts to secure the plinth.
